Eammon currently based in Washington D.C. working as the U.S. Correspondent for 10 News First - a national news service in Australia owned by CBS. As well as writing his own stories, he films them too.
He has covered major world stories including the final year of the Trump Presidency, the Capitol Insurrection, the 2020 election campaign, Trump’s covid diagnosis, 2 impeachment trials and Joe Biden’s inauguration. Eammon was living in New York City when it was the world’s epicenter for Covid-19. Other major stories include the El Paso massacre, Harvey Weinstein’s trial and Jeffrey Epstein’s death.
Europe Correspondent - Network 10, Australia
Eammon was the Europe Correspondent for 10 News First based in London from 2018 to 2019. When he wasn’t covering Brexit, Eammon reported on some of the biggest stories to hit Europe including the Notre Dame cathedral fire in Paris, Donald Trump’s state visit to the UK, the Soccer World Cup in Russia and the Armistice Centenary in Western Europe.
Output Producer & News Editor - Good Morning Britain, ITV
Eammon worked as a freelance output producer and overnight news editor on ITV’s flagship breakfast programme, Good Morning Britain, with Piers Morgan. Duties included writing briefs for presenters, briefing guests, writing intros and packages plus overseeing editors. Eammon was on shift during the historic Brexit vote in 2018.

Eammon worked as a freelance output producer for Al Jazeera English based in the London Bureau at the Shard in London Bridge. Duties included writing intros, overseeing edits and writing info straps for the news channel.

Eammon began his career in television working as a regional journalist in Rockhampton and Townsville before being posted to Brisbane. He reported on crime, politics and colour stories. Eammon is a fast worker and was often taken off the road to produce senior journalists during breaking news situations.
